February Half Term in Surrey 2024

If you’re looking for things to do this February half term in Surrey then you have come to the right place. You may be looking for a lovely family friendly day out or just somewhere to go for walks or you might prefer an organised event or school holiday activities, put on especially for February half term. When is February Half Term in Surrey?
February half term 2024 in Surrey is half way through the 2024 spring term. This year the school term dates fall so that half term is Monday 12th to Friday 16th February 2024. I think it’s the same week as neighbouring counties this year but it’s worth checking as Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire often have different half term holiday dates and your school may also tak on inset days either side too. You can always check Surrey school term dates and Surrey school holidays for the academic year 2024 on the Surrey County Council website.

National Trust Trails and Events
National Trust sites often have fantastic family trails to keep children entertained. Here are the ones on this half term in Surrey:
Polesden Lacey – Great Bookham, near Dorking Surrey RH5 6BD
Polesdenopoly – 10th to 16th February 2024 – £5 per group
Bring your friends and family to enjoy this interactive trail, see if you can become as rich as Mrs Greville, previous owner of Polesden Lacey and well-known Edwardian socialite. Retrace the steps of past Kings, Queens and Maharajas, whilst you buy your favourite sites dotted around Polesden Lacey. The Brick People Lego Exhibition & Build – 12th to 14th February 2024
Take part in brick building, LEGO and LEGO DUPLO play areas and build a LEGO mosaic plus there’s also a display of official and custom LEGO models which is free to visit.
Nature Train Ride – Times and dates throughout half term.
Wrap up warm and enjoy a gentle trip through the vineyard on the Denbies train. Spot woodland friends throughout the vineyard, ticking them off in your booklet as you go!
Brooklands Museum – Brooklands Drive, Weybridge Surrey KT13 0SL
Go Supersonic this February Half Term! – 10th to 18th February 2024
Take your family supersonic this February half-term and celebrate the Brookland’s Concorde, Delta Golf’s, 50th Anniversary! Help make a model Concorde, make an aeroplane and watch it fly whilst meeting Brooklands Aviation legends!

Although many theme parks are closed, Chessington World of Adventures opens throughout the winter for guests to enjoy their Zootastic Weekends where they can see the animals and gardens. But, things get even more exciting for February half term!

Step into the enchanting world of Hampton Court Palace this half term. Be transported back to 1562, where the Tudor court is buzzing with whispers and secret meetings. Queen Elizabeth I has fallen victim to smallpox, casting a shadow of uncertainty over Hampton Court Palace. It is up to you to become part of the story and help Elizabeth’s spymaster unravel the mystery of who might be conspiring to take the throne.

Libraries in Surrey

Most cinemas have reduced tickets at weekends and in school holidays, a great budget activity that the whole family can enjoy together

At Vue’s Mini Mornings you can see the best kids and family films from only £2.49 each. Mini Mornings run every Saturday and Sunday morning from 10am plus every day in the school holidays.
Odeon – Odeon Kids – Kingston – Epsom – Guildford
With special Odeon Kids screenings of the most spellbinding fairy tales and animated films, grown-ups pay kids’ ticket prices, making it a great value day out for the whole family.
There are many other cinemas in Surrey – Everyman, Empire and Harlequin to name a few, but they all seem to have the same ticket prices and offerings during school holidays.

The Blue Tots programme is designed to get children learning new skills in an exciting and social environment. Each camp is full of activities, exercises and fun games that use special equipment to build up agility, balance and coordination as well as tennis technique. Children will be learning drills, match play and taking part in fun competitions. Children will be grouped into their age/ability levels.

Mainly land based bush craft activities. Surrey Theatre Academy February Half Term Musicals Camp

Premier Education have a range of fun and exciting holiday camps to keep children active. Each Holiday Camp features a range of activities and with a choice between a Multi-Activity camp, Multi-Sport camp, Performing Arts camp, or a Sport-Specific camp.
Barracudas don’t seem to have clubs available in Surrey this half term.
