When is February Half Term in Hampshire?

February half term 2025 in Hampshire is half way through the spring term. This year the school term dates fall so that half term is Monday 17th to Friday 21st February 2025. I think it’s the same week as neighbouring counties this year but it’s worth checking as Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire often have different half term holiday dates and your school may also tack on inset days either side too. National Trust Trails

National Trust sites often have fantastic trails to keep children entertained. Here are the ones on this half term in Hampshire:

Mottisfont – Mottisfont Lane, Mottisfont, Romsey SO51 0LP

February half term: Come and play – 15th to 23rd February 2025

This half term, bring the family to Mottisfont for a playful outdoor adventure! Enjoy a scenic walk around the beautiful grounds and take part in fun activities like den building, spotting red kites from the bird hide, and racing family pooh sticks from one of Mottisfont’s charming bridges. Days Out with Half Term Activities in Hampshire

Winchester Science Centre – Telegraph Way, Winchester, Hampshire SO21 1HZ

February Half Term – 14th to 24th February 2025.

Warm up this February half term with some explosive science fun! Get ready for a squishy, stretchy and slime-tastic live science show, The Slime Show, blast off on the ultimate family space adventure with the return of Sub-zero Space Adventure in The Planetarium and uncover the exciting world of astronomers in subtitled Planetarium film show, We Are Astronomers.

Spring Half Term – 15th to 23rd February 2025

Say hello to Spring and visit Finkley to meet little lambs and many other adorable animals. All activities are included in the all-day entry to Finkley Down Farm. Half Term Family Fun – 17 Feb – 21 Feb 2025

Airfix extravaganza – 21st February 2025

Make your own genuine Airfix model to take home. Try out a new hobby with help from friendly staff or enjoy some nostalgia and pass on a passion for model making to the next generation. Build your model and get a set of paints to make it look amazing at the museum or to complete it at home.

Operation Spies and Lies – Various dates

Your mission is to work together to complete challenges, crack codes, and answer questions to find a mystery object hidden in the museum. The challenge will take you around the museum, learning more about the objects and people involved in D-Day. Complete all the puzzles to win your prize and get an exclusive free D-Day backpack to take home.

Life in the Second World War – Various dates

Discover what life was like during the Second World War. You will be able to talk to a member of the Women’s Voluntary Service and an Air Raid Precautions Warden who will be in the museum.

Libraries in Hampshire

There are many libraries across Hampshire and the vast majority of them have activities and events on for children on a regular basis but especially during school holidays. You can find your local library here and book available sessions online too.

Leisure Centres in Hampshire

Leisure centres can be a fantastic place to spend time as a family and they’ve come far over recent times, now having so much more than just swimming pools. Many have climbing facilities, soft play centres and even trampoline parks within them! Here are all the ones in Hampshire to choose from:


Trampoline Parks in Hampshire

Trampolining is a fantastic activity that children love and it’s perfect for a wet weather day – which is often the case in February half term! Here are the trampoline parks in Hampshire – and many of the leisure centres above offer trampolining classes too. It’s great fun for all ages.

Youth Options Bushcraft Club

Where: Youth Options Outdoor Learning Centre, Eastleigh

When: Every Friday through the holidays, 9am – 3pm

Ages: 11-15 years

This holiday club will give young people aged 11-15 the opportunity to spend the day outside learning advanced Bushcraft skills.  Activities will include shelter building, campfire cooking, foraging, woodwork, habitat exploration and much more!


Youth Options Woodland Holiday Club
