The Best Valentines Afternoon Tea Delivery Options 2024
Valentines Day is coming up and as much as I think of it as a Hallmark Holiday, it is a great excuse to get afternoon tea – whether that’s at a cafe or in the comfort of your own home.
I thought it would be useful to put together all the places that offer afternoon tea delivery across the country, from afternoon tea gift baskets to cream tea hampers and luxury gift sets of sweet treats. All complete with raspberry or strawberry jam, clotted cream and a variety of tea options. So that you can have all the excitement and flavour of a tea house but as a little tea party at home.
What is included in an afternoon tea delivery?
Most afternoon tea deliveries include tea bags to make your own pot or cup of tea, fruit or plain scones, jam and clotted cream as well as other sweet treats like cakes – lemon drizzle slices or classic Victoria Sponge are popular, brownies, cookies or muffins. They don’t generally include afternoon tea sandwiches as they don’t travel very well through the delivery system!
Many of the places I am sharing offer free from options with dairy free, gluten free and vegetarian and vegan afternoon teas. I have shared a rough cost based on a traditional afternoon tea for two – or the closest product to that. I haven’t shared the cost inc delivery as delivery costs can vary depending on how much you order and where you live – so I have just given the base price for each afternoon tea hamper.
