When are the Easter holidays in Hampshire?

The Hampshire Easter holidays this year are from 7th to 21st April 2025. Easter Monday is at the end of the holidays this year, on Monday 21st April. However, friends in neighbouring counties often have different school holiday dates.

Winchester Science Centre – Telegraph Way, Winchester SO21 1HZ

Easter st Winchester Science Centre – 4th to 22nd April 2025

It wouldn’t be Easter without an egg hunt. Visit the science centre for an oviparity egg hunt. That means you’ll be looking for eggs laid by animals that hatch. What birds will you find? Will there be a creepy crawly or two? And will you be surprised to find out a few other species that hatch?

Don’t worry, the hunt is a picture trail! And once you’ve found all the eggs, you’ll be in for a delicious Easter treat.

Easter Egg Hunt at the Mill – 16th April 2025

Explore the Mill grounds in search of the missing chocolates left by the Easter bunny! Each child will receive a bag to collect their chocolate and they will have 13 letters (chocolates) to find.

Children’s Easter Event – 6th April 2025

This Children’s Easter event will feature a visit from Ems Friendly Farm with lots of animals on-site including some baby goats that the children can feed and pet. On top of this you will receive an Easter egg at the end of the fabulous egg-hunt along with various craft activities all included within the admission price!


Queen Elizabeth Country Park – Gravel Hill, Horndean, Hampshire PO8 0QE

The Big Butser Egg Roll – 5th to 21st April 2025

Find all the signs of spring to lead you to the bottom of Butser Hill. Once there you can give your rubber egg a good throw and see how far it rolls!

Each pack comes with a trail guide, a pack of pencils, a springtime craft to take home and a rubber egg to decorate. Priced at £6 per pack.

The Great Big Golden Egg Hunt – 18th to 21st April 2025

Who will find the platinum egg! The popular Longdown Golden Egg Hunt is back again this year. There are nineteen golden eggs to find every day, PLUS one very special platinum egg! There are no clues, and they are VERY hard to find. There will be a prize for those who are fortunate enough to find a golden egg, and an eggstra special prize awarded to the person who finds the platinum egg.

Eggsplore with Penn Croft – 18th April 2025

Those naughty little bunnies have run off with our easter treats, and you need to help find them on this Easter Trail! Your journey starts with an easter trail along the footpaths and through the woods. Follow the rabbit paw prints and mark off items you see along the way. On returning to the Cellar Door collect your prize for a job well done.

Denmead Day Care Holiday Club

When: Hampshire school holidays, 8am to 6pm

Ages: 4-11 year olds

PH Camps

Where: Kimpton, Thruxton & Fyfield Primary School, Andover

Ages: 4-14 years

PH Camps provide a wide variety of sports and activities during school holiday periods at venues all over the southwest.
