Eggs-travaganza Easter hunt – 16th March to 15th April 2024

It wouldn’t be Easter without an egg hunt. Visit the science centre for an oviparity egg hunt. That means you’ll be looking for eggs laid by animals that hatch. What birds will you find? Will there be a creepy crawly or two? And will you be surprised to find out a few other species that hatch?

Don’t worry, the hunt is a picture trail! And once you’ve found all the eggs, you’ll be in for a delicious Easter treat.

Easter Bunny Trail – Fri 29 Mar 2024 to Sun 14 Apr 2024

Search for the Easter Bunnies around the park. Each bunny holds an egg with a code on it. Your task is to decode the message to earn a prize. Some of the boards have QR codes on them revealing some cracking jokes! Pick up a trail pack and prize from the Woodland Café for just £3!

The Big Butser Egg Roll 2024 – 29th March to 1st April 2024

Find all the signs of spring to lead you to the bottom of Butser Hill. Once there you can give your rubber egg a good throw and see how far it rolls!

Each pack comes with a trail guide, a pack of pencils, a springtime craft to take home and a rubber egg to decorate. Priced at £6 per pack.

The Great Big Golden Egg Hunt – 29th March to 1st April 2024

Who will find the platinum egg! The popular Longdown Golden Egg Hunt is back again this year. There are nineteen golden eggs to find every day, PLUS one very special platinum egg! There are no clues, and they are VERY hard to find. There will be a prize for those who are fortunate enough to find a golden egg, and an eggstra special prize awarded to the person who finds the platinum egg.

Sport Skool

Where: John Keble C of E Primary School, Winchester – The Westgate School, Winchester – Stroud Prep School, Romsey

Ages: 5-13 years

When school’s out, SportSkool’s in – and running a holiday club near you! Throughout the week, your child could be taught a variety of top sports by qualified, DBS-checked and fully insured SportSkool coaches.


Denmead Day Care Holiday Club

Where: Ashling Pavilion, King George’s Field, Denmead, Waterlooville PO7 6LA

When: Hampshire school holidays, 8am to 6pm

Ages: 4-11 year olds

Activities include arts and crafts, games, outdoor play, cooking and trips out into the local area.


SCL Football Holiday Clubs

Where: Great Binfields Primary School, Basingstoke – Velmead Junior School, Fleet

When: Most school holidays

Ages: Soccer School – ages 4-12 years, Football Development Camp – ages 6-15 years.


Portsmouth High School Holiday Club

Where: Portsmouth High School, Southsea

When: Most school holidays

Ages: 3-11 years

The Portsmouth High School multi-activity programme brings together a balanced mix of IT, arts and crafts with sport, cookery, dance and outdoor activities. Each week the camps have a theme and will include a range of games, tasks, sporting, science, creative and challenge activities.


New Forest Activities Holiday Adventure Day

Where: New Forest Activities, Beaulieu

Ages: 8-12 years

Active Camps are ideal for children who enjoy lots of variety. No two days are the same! The activities are tailored to the children on-site by brilliant staff with engagement and enjoyment being at the forefront of everything they do. Each day will feature a range of sports, arts and crafts, team challenges, and wide span games such as capture the flag, obstacle courses, group collages and much more!


PH Camps

Where: Kimpton, Thruxton & Fyfield Primary School, Andover

When: Most school holidays

Ages: 4-14 years

PH Camps provide a wide variety of sports and activities during school holiday periods at venues all over the southwest. All camps are Ofsted registered and parents can use childcare vouchers and tax-free childcare too. Plus, there really is an activity for everyone. Mainstream sports for the sporty, arts & crafts for the creative and extreme sports for the wild.


Barracudas Activity Camps
