We love baking at home as a family and the children love peanut butter. One of our favourite bakes at the moment is this easy peanut butter cookie recipe and they are a firm favourite with everyone who has tried them. They make a nice change from chocolate chip cookies and the children love making them.

Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

The cookies couldn’t be any easier to make and are full of flavour. They are really moreish and are wonderful served as part of an afternoon tea spread, enjoyed with a cup of tea or baked for a school bake sale.

What kind of peanut butter should we use?

We use smooth peanut butter for this recipe but you could use crunchy peanut butter, an almond butter or any other natural peanut butter alternative you like. I am sure the cookies would turn out just as well!
