Peanut Butter Cookies
These cookies are great as they are but would be equally good iced or half dipped in chocolate.

- 250 g plain flour
- 100 g muscovado sugar
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
- 70 g butter
- 70 g golden syrup
- 75 g peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
Preheat the oven to 170C/325F/Gas 3
Mix the flour, sugar and baking powder. Rub in the butter until it looks like breadcrumbs.
Mix together the egg, syrup, peanut butter and milk and add it to the dry mixture until a dough is formed.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface and cut with a cookie cutter.
Places cookies on a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
