Me & Mine {December 2022}

Well, December was such a lovely month that went by in a blur. We started it as we always do – by putting the tree up, cracking out the Christmas clothes and going on a festive day out – this time to Winkworth Arboretum for their Snowman Trail.

We managed to squeeze in three different theatre shows – Beauty and the Beast at our local theatre, Cinderella at The Anvil and Elf the Musical in London. We love a show and they always feel like such a treat over the festive season.

We also squeezed in loads of festive days with friends, full of games and buffet food which is basically our favourite way to socialise!

Plus, we went to RHS Wisley for their light trail on what was probably the coldest day of the year – and had a festive ice skating session at Guildford Spectrum too. All in all, it’s been a busy, lovely month.

But, I can’t finish without mentioning Christmas. After a couple of years of pandemic and things, it was lovely to have Christmas at home, just the four of us, without any issues and really just focus on family time.

The children declared it the best Christmas ever and we have been in a bit of a festive bubble ever since, mainly at home, hibernating, watching movies, playing with new toys and just enjoying the slower pace. It has been lovely.

And now, we look forward to 2023 and, as is tradition, I leave you with all the Me & Mine photos from the year – ignoring the fact we missed a couple of months by accident this year.
