Me & Mine {June 2022}

Oh what a lovely month this one has been. Although we only spent three nights in Denmark, that trip has completely overshadowed anything else that happened in June and I think, a few weeks later, we are still recovering from it!

We had such a busy four days – flying out at 7am and flying back at midnight with so many adventures in between. But, it’s a trip we had planned for years and to finally be able to travel and have a holiday just like we used to felt like a dream come true.

Our first stop was the Lego House, followed by Legoland Billund, Wow Park and then another day at Legoland. We stayed in the Legoland Hotel and it really was such a fantastic break. It’s one the children will talk about forever.

Aside from Denmark, this month has been spent with down time at home, catching up on jobs around the house and settling back into routines after the half term break.

I started a new job as soon as the children went back to school and it’s going really well but I’m especially feeling the change in pace. Plus, I’m doing a digital marketing course at the moment so it feels like I have to constantly keep all the plates spinning. That said, I’m really enjoying life at the moment and it’s a welcome feeling after the pandemic.

Next month LP will have finished primary school and we’ll be gearing up to spend a few weeks in Florida. I’m not quite sure where this year is going but, as each month passes, they feel a little brighter than the one before. June was definitely good to us.
