Me & Mine {July 2022}

I completely forgot it was the end of the month until about lunch time today so I quickly took a family photo in the garden – and even managed to get the cat in on the action!

This month has been a lovely one for us as a family. School and work have been so busy that we’ve done very little at weekends, focusing on trying to get a good balance and just enjoying time together at home.

LP finished Primary School and we had so many end of year activities at school, it was a busy few weeks up until school finished for the summer. Then we signed off from school routines for 6 weeks – and we’re loving the slower pace that the holidays have brought with it.

This month I met up with a friend from Canada who was over visiting with her family. I met her through the blog and had never met her in real life before so it was lovely to spend an evening with her.

Aside from that, we went to Warner Bros Studios earlier this month which was a fantastic day out, especially as we hadn’t visited in years. We all love Harry Potter so it was lovely to experience such a great day out as a family with the kids old enough to understand it all.

We also had a couple of lovely days with family and friends and have spent a lot of time at home preparing for our upcoming holiday. Three sleeps and we’ll be off for most of August – we cannot wait.

I hope you’ve had a lovely July, that the end of the school year was ok for you and that life is treating you well. Here’s to a lovely August!
