Siblings {2017}

Oh wow, what a year it has been for these two. They have grown so much over the last 12 months and have grown so much closer – I didn’t even think that was possible.

The year started with Little Man at nursery and his sister in year one and finished with Little Man being a fully fledged school boy! At the start of the year Little Man was also going through speech therapy and over the last 12 months his speech has improved massively. I am so proud of how hard he has worked at his speech and at everything that school has thrown at him – he’s so much bigger than he was a year ago.

LP hasn’t changed much in a year, she’s pretty much the same size and has her very first wobbly tooth but knows so much more than she did a year ago and is still very much a sponge, soaking up information and asking endless questions.

But so much has been consistent this year. LP and Little Man love each other. They are each other’s favourite person and they are happiest when they’re together. They watch TV together, taking it in turns to pick what they put on. They play together, they share and they are just the best of friends.

This year has been a pretty perfect year but the highlight by far has been spending so much time with this awesome pair. I cannot wait to see where the next year takes them but one things for sure, wherever one ends up the other one won’t be far behind.

Here’s the last year in photos:

  1. Oh it’s beautiful looking back over a whole year isn’t it? They have grown up and changes so much and matured. I love this project this month to do just that. Happy Holidays ahead. #siblingsproject
