Christmas Ice Skating Hampshire 2023

Ice skating is such a Christmas tradition and something we love to do as a family over the festive season. Each year more ice skating  rinks appear, adding to the festive spirit and making an ice skating experience accessible for many more people.

Ice skating at Christmas

We love going ice skating as part of a festive day out. After a day of Christmas shopping, when we’re at a Christmas market, after a trip to see Father Christmas or alongside Christmas events. It’s a great activity and something that we always enjoy, especially if we get to enjoy a delicious hot chocolate afterwards.

So I thought it would be nice to put together all the places you can ice skate this Christmas across Hampshire. It makes a nice change to go ice skating locally rather than venturing into London for the likes of Winter Wonderland or Somerset House.

Many of the outside rinks have viewing spaces that are dog friendly, so your dog could accompany you to the side of the ice rink where you can watch everyone enjoying their time on the ice.
