I’ve realised over the last few years that so many people love to make their own wreath in the run up to Christmas so I thought it would be nice to gather together all the wreath making workshops and experiences across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight so you can see what’s on offer this festive season.

As well as wreath making, at the end I have included other adult festive workshops that I think might be of interest – with everything from candle making to willow weaving! I hope it gives you some inspiration for fun, festive activities you can do with your nearest and dearest this Christmas.

I’ve tried to put the workshops in date order to make it easier for you to find one that works for you. I’ve also included the venue, address and the basic price but please do click through to the workshop website to find out more. I will add more workshops as I come across them.

The Hillier Christmas Wreath Making Experience – Various dates – £50 per person

This December, visit Hillier Garden Centres for one of their festive wreath workshops, where you’ll have the chance to create your own beautiful Christmas wreath from scratch.

Guided by the experts, you’ll learn to craft stunning, personalised wreaths using materials including moss and foliage to build up the frame of your wreath, then choosing from a wide selection of decorations, from greenery and natural items to seasonal decorations and lights.

If you are interested in making a traditional mossed Christmas door wreath on a metal frame then this is a must do course!
