Ice skating at Christmas is such a lovely tradition and something we always look forward to over the festive season. It goes hand in hand with snow, Christmas lights, festive decorations and the smells of mulled wine and cinnamon!

We love going ice skating as a family and enjoying a hot chocolate aftwerwards! It’s the best kind of family fun and we often add an ice skating experience to a festive day out, after Christmas shopping, a day at Christmas events or before going out for a nice meal as a family.
I thought it would be good to put together all the ice skating rinks across Berkshire to give you inspiration for ice skating this Christmas. Many are real ice rinks and they are usually set up for the whole festive season, spanning from November through to January, giving you so much opportunity to go ice skating.

Lapland UK – Whitmoor Forest, Swinley Rd, Winkfield Row, Ascot SL5 8BD
One of the top festive experiences in the UK, with ice skating as part of the experience.
When: Throughout the festive season.

Ice skating all year round in Berkshire
There are other places you can go ice skating in Berkshire that aren’t just for Christmas. Here are some of the ice rinks across Berkshire that you can enjoy all year round:
