Christmas Ice Skating in Surrey 2024

It will probably not surprise you to find out that there aren’t many ice skating rinks in Surrey – and not that many more over the festive season. That said, Christmas isn’t Christmas for me without an ice skating experience and it’s something I love to share with friends and family over the festive season.

There are many fantastic ice rinks across the country – like WInter Wonderland in London – and we have been to many of the big, iconic ones over the year, but sometimes you just want to skate closer to home. So here are all the skating options across Surrey this year.

Hampton Court Palace Ice Rink – Hampton Court Palace, Surrey KT8 9AU

Ice skate at one of the most beautiful locations in British history. The palace is the perfect backdrop, lit up whilst you skate along to festive tunes. It’s the best place to skate in Surrey.

When: 22nd November 2024 to 5th January 2025

Cost: From ยฃ18 per adult, ยฃ13 per child and ยฃ46 for a family ticket.

Guildford Spectrum – Parkway, Guildford GU1 1UP

Not traditionally a Christmas ice rink, the Spectrum is a professional level ice rink that you will always enjoy skating on. plus, they have festive skate sessions in the run up to Christmas – and snow even falls onto the ice!

When: Open daily

Cost: From ยฃ8.93 per adult and ยฃ7.72 per child.
