There’s nothing that kids love more over the Easter holidays than Easter trails or Easter egg hunts – especially if they get a nice chocolate treat at the end. We always make sure we do at least one Easter trail over the Easter weekend – it’s great family fun – and so I’ve put together our favourite Easter trails across Berkshire to inspire you to go on an Easter adventure too.

National Trust Easter Trails

Have an Easter adventure as you make your way along the trail and find nature-inspired activities for the whole family. Visit a National Trust site and explore the beautiful parks and gardens.

Trails costs £3.50 per child.

Reading Museum – Blagrave Street, Reading, RG1 1QH

Little Dragon Easter Egg Hunt – From Saturday 28th March 2026 – £1.50 per trail

Who do these eggs belong to? Find the colourful eggs and little dragons or chicks hidden throughout the Museum. When you have found them all, go and collect your chocolate prize! Even the youngest visitors can enjoy this trail.


Binfield – Terrace Rd N, Binfield, Bracknell RG42 5JB

Binfield Easter Egg Hunt – 30th March to 6th April 2026

It’s back for the 10th year and it’s going to be another eggsellent hunt! Simply buy a map for £5 from either Binfield Village Stores or Foxes Den Café during the week and enjoy a fun walk around the village. With coffee shops, playgrounds and a fantastic pub on the route, come and have a great day out.

Easter Egg Hunt – Sunday 5th April 2026, from 10am – 11:30am

Little explorers are invited to follow the Easter Bunny’s trail around the beautiful grounds in search of a well-earned chocolate reward. With fresh spring air, plenty of space to roam and just the right touch of adventure, it’s a joyful way to begin the day.

Perfect for families staying at the hotel or visiting for the morning, the Easter Egg Hunt brings colour, laughter and a sense of occasion to the gardens. £5 per person.


Bucklebury Farm Park – Pease Hill, Reading RG7 6RR

Egg Hunts on the Farm – 30th March to 3rd April 2026

Visit Bucklebury Farm for an Easter egg hunt across the farm, surrounded by farm animals!


4 Kingdoms Adventure Park – Newbury Road, Headley, Thatcham RG19 8JY

Easter Eggstravaganza – 28th March to 12th April 2026 – Included with admission

Visit 4 Kingdoms for an Easter egg hunt, Easter grotto and more spring fun as well as all the usual 4 Kingdoms attractions.

Easter Eggstravaganza – 3rd to 6th April 2026 – Included with admission

Get ready for our biggest and most egg‑cellent celebration yet! Wellington Country Park’s Easter Eggstravaganza is bursting with dazzling entertainment, crafty fun, and adventures for the whole family. The Mega Egg Hunt will take place on all four days of the Easter Eggstravaganza, so be sure to pick up your hunt sheet before exploring the Park and exchange for a chocolate egg in the Adventure Room!

Highclere Castle – Highclere Park, Highclere, Newbury RG20 9RN

Highclere Castle’s Easter Egg Trail – 11th April 2026

Follow a trail through Highclere’s gardens and woodland, finding clues en route. At the end, each child will win a chocolate Easter Egg! There’s also an Easter bonnet parade and you can enjoy all the other aspects of Highclere Castle too. A really lovely day out.
