Using English Heritage Membership in Wales

Did you know that you can use your English Heritage membership in Wales? When we visited over Easter we managed to visit so many castles for free thanks to English Heritage.

English Heritage Associated Attractions

As well as free, unlimited entry to the hundreds of English Heritage sites throughout England, you are also able to access free or discounted entry to many English Heritage Associated Attractions across the whole of Great Britain and overseas. Visit Wales with Cadw

Cadw is the organisation who are helping to safeguard Wales’ historic places, whilst inspiring current and future generations.. They look after many sites across Wales, much like English Heritage in England.

Thanks to the partnership between English Heritage and Cadw, English Heritage members can visit 30 Cadw sites for free or for 50% off simply by showing their membership card on arrival at the attraction.

English Heritage members receive a 50% discount off entry to the Cadw sites in their first year of English Heritage membership and free entry every year after renewal. Plus, you can take up to six children with each adult member for free as well.
