Toblerone Shortbread Biscuits
This Toblerone Shortbread recipe just uses sugar, butter and flour. We use caster sugar but have used granulated sugar and golden caster sugar in the past and both work well. We also use unsalted butter but have used margarine at times when it was all that we had in the fridge!
For the Toblerone you can use any flavour Toblerone that you like although we tend to stick to the traditional Toblerone. We find that the best Toblerone shortbread cookies are made with the simplest ingredients without trying to mix it up too much. One thing is for sure, everyone will love these chocolate Toblerone cookies.
We mader these cookies about a centimetre thick so they are nice, chunky Toblerone shortbread cookies although you can make them thinner or thicker and would just need to adjust cooking times accordingly.
