Me & Mine {October 2019}

Well as we’re now well over a week into November I was tempted to just leave this months Me & Mine but I haven’t missed one since I started doing them when Little Man was a baby. So here we are, a week late.

October is always my favourite month but this year it was harder than usual. The children and I were poorly for some of it – colds, coughs and runny noses. I was reviewing a diet plan for a couple of weeks too which really messed up our routine and we ended up having a really cold and wet trip to Devon that we abandoned early.

Our October is usually so different to that! But, I had my birthday and feel quite content at turning 35. We celebrated with a weekend in Birmingham, going to Drayton Manor and it was a really lovely weekend.

I also did Tough Mudder at the start of the month which feels like a lifetime ago now. The children had a day in London with Dave seeing the premier of Abominable and going to Shrek’s Adventure. So not a weekend together but a really nice weekend all the same.

And now we’re into November and so close to the end of the year. I’m hoping November is an uneventful month, full of time at home and enjoying the lead up to the festive season. Let’s see how it goes!
