Me & Mine {July 2018}

Well this month has been a really lovely one! The weather has been mostly incredible – like being abroad – and only the last few days have been back to normal British downpours and storms. But, we have packed so much in to this month, so much family time, and I even disappeared to Wales for a week to learn to swim too.

We started the month with a trip to Bristol to go to The Wild Place Project (technically in June!) and Bristol Zoo – two really lovely days out. We have driven through Bristol so many times but have never been on a day out in that area. Our next plan is to actually venture into the city at some point.

We also went to London to see the new Thomas movie premier – which was a huge highlight for Little Man and LP just loved seeing her brother so happy. He literally lives for Thomas so it’s something we build into our routine as much as possible – and even finished the month with a glamping weekend at Drayton Manor as the children love Thomas Land so much!

We also went to Drusillas Park and GoApe – so many days out and adventures this month, so many lovely days in the sun and so many picnics too. It has been pretty perfect – and a month isn’t usually that perfect – but this month has had no negatives for us as a family. It’s been lovely, full of fun, laughter and happy children. Now, we have August to savour – our last month of the summer.
