Walking…

Little Man is coming on leaps and bounds and since learning to stand up and climb up things he has now started to make use of his wooden walker and push it from one end of the room to the other regularly.

Walking...

He gets such a look of concentration and determination on his face and at times stops walking to instead bounce up and down on the spot or kneels down and have a rest. The walker was LP’s. Most of the blocks that came with it have been lost and we no longer have the xylophone bomper either but it’s a lovely walker and LP even still plays with it now!

Walking...

Little Man spends a lot of the day on his feet, holding onto furniture and walking along, climbing up things or reaching for toys. He loved the new height that standing gives him and will even walk along holding our hands if he’s in the right kind of mood.

Walking...

It won’t be long before our Little Man lets go of our hands, or his walker, and walks by himself. The months are flying past, he is learning so much and he will be a year old in less than two weeks. The last year has been a whole series of small steps, each one an amazing achievement and I cannot wait to watch with love and pride as Little Man learns so much more.

  1. E is the same – loves to be up standing or walking. He’s so confident with his Vtech walker now & loves taking us for walks. He certainly knows where he wants to go. These babies are growinf up too quickly x

  2. Gorgeous walker. Well done LM. We have a wooden kitchen walker for my little girl who turned one this week. Unlike your little man, she has no interest in walking with it yet!

  3. He really is coming on so quickly. I loved Ethan’s baby walker, we used to race them up and down my mum’s front room. Lots of giggles to be had ;0). It’s great that he loves the walker so much.

Thanks for linking up with Small Steps Amazing Achievements :0)
