Siblings {May 2018}
I think this is the month where Little Man has started to outgrow LP, where he is slightly taller than her and where his clothes are the same size as LP’s but where they fit him a little better. Aside from that, LP and Little Man are as close as ever. They are peas in a pod and are always happiest when they are side by side.
This month has been full of adventures for this pair of siblings. They had a sleepover at their grandparent’s house and then a lovely long weekend at Alton Towers, our annual tradition, where they go to experience both the theme park and the water park. It was a pretty lovely weekend for them.
The following weekend I was away but the children went to Legoland with their Daddy, one of their favourite places and somewhere we haven’t been in far too long – despite only being ten minutes away and having Merlin Annual Passes! I’ve vowed that we’ll go back again before too long.
The month finished with Little Man’s birthday, a trip to Peppa Pig World and so many birthday celebrations – which Little Man couldn’t participate in fully as he’d broken his elbow… Whoops! But, LP has been looking after him, helping him and playing with him. He did the same thing less than a year before but with the other arm so we are all really well versed in what he can and can’t do and how to keep things as exciting as possible for him – despite the plaster cast.
LP and Little Man are now well into their last term of the school year, it will soon be half term and then they’ll have just a few weeks left. They have both done so well this year, coped amazingly and have been there for each other so much. Next year, LP moves up to the junior school and I think Little Man may be a little lost without her – life is always better for them when they’re together.
So many gorgeous pictures! I love that tunnel one at the start! So atmospheric!! Looks like its been a fun packed month for your little pair! Hope they enjoy their last couple of months at school together. xx
A month full of theme parks! you cant beat it for children can you, literally living the dream. apart from Troys arm bless him.
Wow what a fun packed month. Are you finding the broken elbow is not slowing him down? My son fractured his last year and he seemed to develop a new sense of fearlessness and suddenly wanted to try all the things he’s not done before, like one armed zip wiring!
I love the tunnel photo for showing the difference in their heights
He had a ball for his birthday so. Peppa Pig World is amazing. I know we have been twice already but I dont think Chloe will ever get sick of it. Legoland is definitely on the radar again. Maybe next year.
