25+ Recipes with Biscoff Spread

Lotus Biscoff Spread is something we always have in the house. The children love it drizzled on ice cream or spread on pancakes and it’s turned into as much of a kitchen staple as peanut butter or chocolate spread. But, they are always asking me to make new things with their beloved Lotus Biscoff Cookie Butter and looking for ideas of what goes well with Biscoff spread.

Can you make homemade Biscoff spread?

A lot of people like to make their own Biscoff spread and it looks super easy. It seems to be a mix of Lotus Biscoff biscuits, melted butter, evaporated milk and soft brown sugar. Here are a few speculoos spread recipes to get you started:

So what else can you make with this delicious spread? Really, any recipe can have Biscoff added for extra flavour. Anything you can think of, you can make a Lotus Biscoff version. Here are a few Biscoff recipes and ideas to get you started. I’ve tried to include vegetarian, vegan and dairy free options and it features a lot of dessert recipes with Biscoff spread too.

Easy Recipes Using Biscoff Spread

Fudge

One of our favourite things to make using Lotus Biscoff is our Slow Cooker Lotus Biscoff Fudge. Easy to make, it’s a treat that everyone who tries it really loves. Plus, you can make it in the microwave too. Filled with Biscoff biscuit pieces and topped with crushed biscoff cookies, it’s the most popular of all our Biscoff spread recipes. It’s so tasty and wonderful to give as a gift too. Cakes

Cakes are one of the simplest recipes to add Lotus Biscoff butter to and we have seen so many fantastic Biscoff cake recipes. Biscoff Loaf Cake, Biscoff Drip Cakes or beautiful Biscoff Layer Cakes. A Biscoff cake in any style is always a great idea.

Cupcakes

Biscoff cupcakes and muffins are another simple idea that can come in so many different varieties, many topped with Biscoff buttercream and a Lotus biscuit put on the top! Some of our favourites are Lotus Biscoff Cupcakes, Biscoff Muffins, Banana Biscoff Muffins and Biscoff White Chocolate Muffins.

Doughnuts

Doughnuts are always such a wonderful treat and you can get so many different flavours in the shops – including Lotus Biscoff doughnuts. But, you can also make them at home. We love Biscoff Donuts and Biscoff Filled Donuts.

Pancakes

Our latest Biscoff discovery is Lotus Biscoff Pancakes. With cookie butter spread in the pancake mix and also drizzled over the pancakes just before serving, they’re an indulgent treat perfect for a special occasion or just a weekend morning. 

Brownies

Who doesn’t love a brownie? And what could make a brownie better than adding Biscoff to it! Biscoff brownies are utterly delicious and we have tried so many different recipes over the years. Such a great treat to bake when you have company. These Biscoff Brownie Bites are a fantastic, bite size alternative to traditional brownies.

Blondies

Blondies are a great, lighter alternative to brownies but still so rich and full of flavour. We love Biscoff Blondies and Biscoff White Chocolate Blondies, often baking them as a sweet treat the whole family can enjoy. 

Cookies

Lotus Biscoff Biscuits and Lotus Biscoff cookies are another simple bake that everyone loves and they can be so many different styles – from soft in the middle to crunchy, fall apart cookies, ones for dunking and ones for eating slow and savouring. Some of our favourite recipes are the Biscoff Stuffed Cookies, 3 Ingredient Biscoff Cookies and Biscoff Butter Cookies. They all make a great alternative to boring chocolate chip cookies!

Shortbread

Like Millionaire’s Shortbread but with Lotus Biscoff, Biscoff Shortbread is a pretty indulgent treat and one that our children absolutely love. With three different flavours and textures, all working together, every mouthful is a dream come true. 

Rice Krispie Treats

Biscoff Rice Krispie Treats are one of the children’s favourite things and they’d happily make them every weekend if we could. The Biscoff flavour works so well with the marshmallows and rice krispies and the bake always holds together really nicely too. 

Cake Pops

If you’re feeling adventurous, Cake Pops are a great sweet treat to make. You can make Biscoff Cake Pops, Biscoff Cake Balls and even Biscoff Cakesicles. I haven’t been brave enough to give them a try just yet!

Rocky Road

One of my favourite things is Rocky Road and Biscoff Rocky Road is a great alternative to the classic recipe. I love that with Rocky Road you can basically just chuck everything in and it turns out delicious – and a Lotus Biscoff Rocky Road is no different. We also love a Lotus Biscoff Tiffin which is a similar idea. 

Cheesecake

One of the nicest desserts you can have is a Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake and it’s pretty much our favourite Biscoff dessert. The combination of Lotus Biscoff cookie base, creamy cheesecake and a melted Biscoff Spread topping is pretty much heaven on a plate. Our favourite is this No Bake Biscoff Cheesecake.

Cinnamon Rolls

I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who doesn’t love a cinnamon roll and adding Biscoff spread to the recipe just makes them even nicer! I’ve tried many great Biscoff Cinnamon Rolls recipes and there are even Vegan Biscoff Cinnamon Rolls recipes too. 

Puff Pastry Swirls

Puff Pastry Swirls or Puff Pastry Pinwheels are one of our go-to snacks to make for the children after school and Biscoff Puff Pastry Swirls just add another level to them. Utterly delicious! I love easy Biscoff SwirlsBiscoff Swirls with Chocolate Chips and Biscoff and Chocolate Puff Pastry Swirls

Mug Cake

Mug cakes are such a simple treat when you need something sweet but don’t have the enthusiasm to bake. Biscoff mug cakes are a wonderful snack and hit the spot perfectly. 

Crumble

Crumble is one of my absolute favourite things and adding Biscoff to the ingredients really gives a crumble a much more indulgent flavour. A Biscoff and Apple Crumble is one of our favourite desserts. 

Tiramisu

Yep, you can even make Biscoff Tiramisu! As I said, pretty much anything can have Biscoff added for a whole new flavour explosion. A Biscoff Tiramisu is just like the classic recipe but with added Lotus Biscoff flavour – and the coffee and Biscoff combination works really well. 

Trifle

A Biscoff trifle is one of our favourite things to make, especially over the festive season. Extra indulgent and so creamy, it’s something that every trifle fan will love. There are so many different recipes to choose from as well – Biscoff Banoffee Trifle, Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake Brownie Trifle, Lotus Biscoff Hot Cross Bun Trifle – and many, many more!

Mousse

Mousses are often such a simple but decadent dessert, a lovely light option especially after a heavy meal. I love this easy 3 ingredient Biscoff Mousse, this Chocolate Biscoff Mousse and this incredible basic but delicious 2 ingredient Biscoff Mousse

Ice Cream

Biscoff Ice Cream is amazing – we have bought it from the supermarket so many times. But, you can even make it yourself. Biscoff Ice Cream, Biscoff Caramel Ice Cream and Vegan Biscoff Ice Cream are just a few options. 

Ice Cream Cake

If you want to take your Biscoff Ice Cream up a level, why not make a Biscoff Ice Cream cake or Biscoff Ice Box Cake? Absolutely delicious and a great after dinner dessert, especially if it’s a special occasion. You could make a standard Biscoff Ice Cream Cake, a Biscoff Toffee Ice Cream Cake or, our favourite, a Biscoff Crispy Ice Cream Cake. Everyone will love it. 

Milkshake

Milkshakes are one of our favourite things as a family and you can’t beat a Biscoff Milkshake. So easy to make and such a wonderful treat. Some of our favourites are this Vegan Biscoff Milkshake, a Biscoff Milkshake or this Lotus Biscoff Freakshake.

Hot Chocolate

Over the winter we love making all different kinds of hot chocolate and Biscoff Hot Chocolate is one we love. You could make Biscoff Hot Chocolate, Biscoff White Hot Chocolate or Biscoff Baileys Hot Chocolate.

Sauces

Making sauces from Lotus Biscoff Spread is super simple. You can just melt Biscoff spread and use it however you like. We’ve also mixed it with melted chocolate spread before for a chocolate biscoff sauce.

As a seasonal treat, how about Biscoff Cheesecake Easter Eggs? A chocolate easter egg shell full of delicious cheesecake filling and Biscoff flavour. Such a great option to make over Easter.
