Me & Mine {July 2016}
This month has been one lovely month for us as a family – if you ignore Thomas Cook cancelling our holiday three weeks before we were due to fly out.
But that aside, July has been a month full of days out – most memorably to Drusillas Park a couple of weeks ago and a lovely afternoon at Warner Bros Studios yesterday – where this month’s photos were taken.
It was also the month that saw LP complete her first year of school and head home for a summer packed full of adventure. These last couple of weeks since she broke up for the holidays have been so full of days out and time at home trying to organise things – for our summer holiday, our upcoming extension and other little things we’ve had going on.
This has really been a busy month for us – busy but so lovely. We’ve had days in the garden, days with friends and days out – lots of lovely days together and we have just finished a whole week together as a family. This is something that doesn’t happen often in our lives and due to our holiday issues we spent it at home – relaxing, pottering and just enjoying each other’s company. It has been lovely.
But as much as July has been lovely, August is set to be even better. August could well be the icing on our cake this year – I cannot wait for a whole month with LP at home with us.
