Me & Mine {May 2018}
This month has gone so quickly and it has been probably the busiest month of the year so far. May is always a busy month and always one of my favourite months too – I’m a little sad it’s over.
Early in the month Little Man turned five and we spent the best part of a week celebrating – with a trampolining party with his school friends, a day at Peppa Pig World and a garden party with friends and family. But, sadly, he broke his arm the week before his birthday – and then broke it again the following week when his cast came off. You wouldn’t have known though – it hasn’t dampened his spirit at all.
We also went to the Hampshire coast for a weekend at a holiday park I used to go to with my family as a child, which was so surreal going back to with my own children. But, we had the nicest weather for it and crammed so much in to just two nights away. It was a pretty perfect weekend.
The rest of the month was full of blog events, hospital visits and work – as well as our ninth wedding anniversary right at the end of the month. May whizzed by but it brought us lovely days out, time together and some beautiful weather too. A pretty lovely month – and June has a lot to compete with!
