Easter Egg Hunts and Easter Trails in Berkshire 2024

There’s nothing that kids love more over the Easter holidays than Easter trails or Easter egg hunts – especially if they get a nice chocolate treat at the end. We always make sure we do at least one Easter trail over the Easter weekend – it’s great family fun – and so I’ve put together our favourite Easter trails across Berkshire to inspire you to go on an Easter adventure too.

National Trust Easter Trails

Have an Easter adventure as you make your way along the trail and find nature-inspired activities for the whole family. Visit a National Trust site and explore the beautiful parks and gardens.

Trails costs £3 per child.

Bucklebury Farm Park – Pease Hill, Reading RG7 6RR

Egg Hunts on the Farm – 29th – 31st March – £5 per child

Visit Bucklebury Farm for an Easter egg hunt across the farm, surrounded by farm animals!


4 Kingdoms Adventure Park – Newbury Road, Headley, Thatcham RG19 8JY

Easter at 4 Kingdoms – 29th March to 14th April 2024 – Included with admission

Visit 4 Kingdoms for an Easter egg hunt, Easter grotto and more spring fun as well as all the usual 4 Kingdoms attractions.


Wellington Country Park – Odiham Road, Riseley, Berkshire RG7 1SP

The Mega Egg Hunt – 31st March 2024

Wellington Country Park need your detective skills to uncover the hidden Mega Eggs scattered around the Park by the Easter Bunny. Collect your Mega Egg Hunt form from the Main Reception building and get ready to crack some clues! Once you’ve found all the eggs, head over to see the Easter Bunny and his friends between friends in the Adventure Room to claim your Cadbury’s Chocolate Button Easter Egg!

Highclere Castle – Highclere Park, Highclere, Newbury RG20 9RN

Highclere Castle’s Easter Egg Trail – 6th April 2024

Follow a trail through Highclere’s gardens and woodland, finding clues en route. At the end, each child will win a chocolate Easter Egg! There’s also an Easter bonnet parade and you can enjoy all the other aspects of Highclere Castle too. A really lovely day out.

Easter Holiday Eggstravaganza – 1st April – 12th April 2024

Get ready to bounce into the most egg-cellent Easter adventure ever! Visit RedKangaroo for an egg-stravaganza of activities where you’ll hop, skip, and jump your way through an epic assortment of fun.

There’s a Bunny Bounce Challenge, Chocolate Egg and Spoon race, Egg Relay and a hunt for the golden egg hidden in the park!
