B.box Insulated Flip Top Bottle Review – and Win!

As a family with a twelve and fourteen year old, we spent years making them packed lunches, taking snacks with us wherever we went and constantly refilling water bottles. So you can imagine how many different tubs, containers and bottles we have used since they were tiny. Having said that, we’ve only just discovered b.box, a brand we wish we’d known about sooner!

The thing that stands out with b.box is how fun and child focused everything is. From the first time we saw b.box we loved how colourful and ergonomic everything was. Everything is easy for children to grip and use, it’s durable and easy to clean. Most importantly, everything is made to last.

I’ve already mentioned that b.box have no upper age limit, and drinks bottles are something we use daily as a family – with no sign that changing! B.box offered to send us some products to try out and we spent some time looking at their fantastic range of hydration products. B.box Insulated Flip Top Bottles

Most water bottles we have used with the children in the past have been plastic, single layer, cheap and cheerful bottles with various designs on the sides. Or, more recently, screw cap metal water bottles have become popular. However, we could instantly see that the B.box Insulated Flip Top Bottles are a real step above what we’ve been used to.

The bottles are metal, have a metal straw and have triple layer insulation which keeps drinks cold for over 40 hours. The children are used to the drinks they take to school being lukewarm by break time so filling the b.box bottle up with ice cold water and it still being super cold hours later was a real novelty for them both and something they really appreciated.

Both the bottles we were sent feature a flip top which is so easy to open and drink from, even on the go or whilst doing sports. But, when closed the bottles are completely water tight, so you can put the bottle in your bag without the worry of it leaking.

The 690ml bottles are a great size for teenagers or even adults. They have a slightly matt finish making them easy to grip and they also feature a flexible, durable carry handle so you can easily take them with you wherever you go.

We love that the bottles are the right size to fit in the holders on the side of our backpacks, and they also fit perfectly in our car cup holders too. One thing I really appreciate as a parent is that the bottles are completely dishwasher safe – the bottle can go on the bottom rack and the rest can go on the top rack – meaning they’re one less thing to wash up by hand!

We’ve absolutely loved using the b.box water bottles since they arrived and know they’ll continue to feature in our everyday adventures for a long time to come. The children have already started using them in place of all their old bottles and happily take them to school too.
