Me Three {The Ordinary Moments}

I have said so many times on this blog how close LP and Little Man are. They have the relationship I always hoped they would have and they are literally two peas in a pod. I doubt it’s possible for siblings who aren’t twins to be any closer.

Me Three {The Ordinary Moments}

But this closeness has gone up a notch. Whenever I have a conversation with LP or Little Man and I say something that one of them agrees with they will say me too – with the other then saying me three! It’s cute and funny but it’s now so much of a ritual in our lives – me too can’t happen without me three and if only one child is there at the time I think how the other would say me three if they’d be around to hear it.

Me three can be about anything. I can say I think it will be a beautiful day, I can say how I love Daddy or how I really fancy something specific for dinner and LP will say me too with Little Man will then say me three – or vice versa. They love us all agreeing and it isn’t often that they disagree, usually deciding on the same things to eat, the same things to drink and the same games to play. Occasionally when Dave is around we’ll hear a me four as he is urged to join in too but most of the time our little tradition stops at three. Me three.

I love these little sayings, the little traditions that I know may not last forever. I love how it’s a little in-thing of ours, how other people probably wouldn’t understand or wouldn’t join in and it’s these little things I love to document in The Ordinary Moments before the moment has passed and we forget that it was ever there.

  1. I love A’s cat ears – I’m presuming that’s what they are?! Quirky and cute and I love the whole Me Three thing.
