Siblings {September 2015}
This month has been a bitter-sweet month for LP and Little Man. Most of it was spent in each other’s shadow. Having adventures and doing everything together. But the last week has been all about LP starting school and a whole new routine for all of us. This has seen the time they spend together lessen but the times when they are together they love even more.
Little Man misses his sister when she isn’t there, asking ‘School now?’ randomly when he’d like to go and get her but most of the time he is happy playing and going on adventures with Daddy or I. I don’t think LP misses any of us when she is at school as she just loves it so much but as soon as she sees us when we pick her up she is full of smiles and cuddles!
The times that LP and Little Man have together now are lazy afternoons, weekends full of adventures together and the dinner, bath and bed lull. They love having routines and they are now pretty much into the school routine and how things work on a school day. There is also now a clear difference to them between weekdays and weekends and Little Man even seems to understand this more now too.
Last month’s Siblings photos were easy – I had so many to choose from but I know now that I’ll have to try harder to take photos when the children are together. There may be a more staged approach in future!
Ah, lots of photos full of smiles and fun! Yes, the weekends do feel more different and special once school is thrown into the mix, don’t they? Sounds like they’re both adjusting well to the changes x
Ah they are adorable! A new routine is difficult but it sounds like they are settling into it well, and learning how great weekends are I hope!!
Ahhh Donna I can’t believe LP has started school!! LM looks so grown up love that he asks to go to school, to pick up his sister that’s so sweet!!
