Me & Mine {October 2023}

Oh what a month it has been! October is always my favourite and this one has been a lovely month, full of time together as a family and the autumn-ness that I love.

This month I turned 39 but, it was very low key because we were all exhausted after the start of the school year. Instead of big adventures we had time at home together, and it was lovely.

Little Man went off on a school residential at the start of half term and after picking him up we drove to Norfolk for a break at Potters Resorts. We had such a lovely few days, full of quality time together and it was just what we needed over half term.

And we finished the month by getting two new additions to our family, Fred and George. We still miss Leia incredible. She only died in July. But, these kittens needed a home, we had the space and we had so much love to give. We’re so happy to have them and they are going to have such a lovely life with us.

So October has had a mix of quiet time and adventures but it has been a month that we’ve really appreciated as a family – and the month Fred and George came to stay. I hope you have had a lovely October too.
