Me & Mine {October 2020}

Oh what a month this has been. The month where I turned 36, where we moved back into our house and where our loft conversion was pretty much completed.

It’s been such a quick month, a busy month and one so full. October is always my favourite month but this one has been such a blur that it hasn’t really had enough of a chance to make an impact this year – I’m sure it’ll be my favourite again next year

Most of this month has been spent choosing carpets, decorating, having decorators here and having so many tradesmen come and go, finishing off the last jobs in the roof.

But, we have had a chance for a couple of lovely days out – to Kew Gardens and Winchester Science Centre which were a lovely glimpse of normality after a few stressful weeks.

I’m now looking forward to November. A month where our house will finally start to feel like a home again and where we can start getting ready for my absolute favourite time of the year.
