Me & Mine {September 2019}

If we ignore the rain then this month has been pretty lovely. We have had a lot of time together as a family and a lot more time at home than we usually have. I think we’ve all really appreciated the slower pace over the last few weeks.

The children have settled back into school really well and are loving their new classes and the new topics that they’re learning about. We’ve all found getting back into a routine exhausting – the earlier mornings and school runs. It’s also been great for me to get back into a good working routine again and the summer already feels such a long time ago.

We spent a really lovely weekend in Dorset, exploring the local area and just having some down time together. The rest of the month has been spent seeing friends and catching up. It has been a lovely month and just what we needed to kick off the new school year.

I can’t quite believe that tomorrow is October and we are well and truly into Autumn. September flew by – and each month seems to be going quicker than the last. I wonder what the next month will bring?
