Over the last couple of months we have had our garden overhauled, completely renovated to make it a space the whole family can enjoy. Part of the work was to incorporate a nice big play area for the children, complete with play bark to make it as safe as possible.
But, we needed play equipment to make the most of the space and Plum Play sent us the perfect addition – a Lookout Tower Climbing Frame with Swings.
Lookout Tower Climbing Frame is such a substantial piece of equipment and it arrived in pieces, all numbered and with clear assembly instructions to help put it together.
It gave guidelines of taking two people five hours to put up and I think this is pretty realistic. Dave did a great job of putting it together and it soon had pride of place on the play area.
The Plum wooden Lookout Tower consists of the main tower part with a ladder up to it and a slide to come down. There are also two swings. But, that’s not all.
The Lookout Tower also has a climbing wall up the side of it – a really fun addition to our garden for the children – plus binoculars, a steering wheel and a mirror.
The whole play structure has been created to be as fun as possible but also to inspire imaginations. The children can act out any adventure on the Lookout Tower – spying baddies with the binoculars, steering themselves to the next part of the story and climbing, sliding and swinging their way through anything their imaginations set out before them. It’s a great space for role play adventures.
We have used a lot of play equipment in the past that the children seem to grow out of fairly quickly but the Lookout Tower Wooden Climbing Frame is something that I know the children will love until they are no longer interested in climbing frames – rather than getting too physically big for it.
The wave slide is a great length and is so much fun for them. Plus, you can make a hole in the slide to attach a hose – making it a great water play option in the summer months.
But, the best thing for me is that Plum have so many swing options so you could tailor the Lookout Tower Climbing Frame to the age and ability of the children – changing the swing seats for baby seats, rope ladders or even a trapeze. It’s an adventure playground and wooden play centre that can fit any child’s personality.
The kids love the new garden and being outdoors but for them it’s all about the Lookout Tower. They have their own play area and a play centre that is perfect for them.
With the wooden lookout tower with slide, they can swing, slide and climb until their heart’s content and it’s great when they have friends over to play too – with space for everyone to have fun together.
Plum Play have a great range of products to suit every garden and play space from the Plum climbing pyramid, wooden sand pits and wooden swings and baby swings to outdoor toys, trampolines and things like our wooden tower and climbing rock walls. Their wooden play equipment is built to last and fantastic quality too.
The Plum Premium Wooden Lookout Tower with Swings product has an RRP of £599.99, is made of FSC certified pine and has a recommended age from three years maximum user weight 50kg. You can find the Plum Lookout Tower Instructions here. You can find the full range of Plum climbing frames over on their website.
Oh wow this is fabulous, my two would have loved this when they were a little bit smaller. What a great addition to your new garden 🙂
