Christmas Markets in Surrey | Things to Do 2026

Christmas markets are such a big part of the festive season and we always try to go to one or two each year. They’re a fantastic place to spend time as a family or with friends and it’s lovely to soak up the festive atmosphere, grab a hot drink and appreciate the lights, smells and sounds of Christmas as well as doing some holiday shopping and really make the most of the holiday season.
As much as we love travelling to the big Christmas markets like Winchester Christmas Market, Bath Christmas Market or Winter Wonderland in London, it’s lovely to spend time closer to home. So I thought I’d put together all the Surrey Christmas markets, holiday markets and Christmas fairs to give you some festive inspiration in your local area.

Contemporary Craft Fair and Jewellery & Silversmithing Fair
Visit RHS Garden Wisley for two fairs where you can explore the incredible craftsmanship of skilled designer-makers, contemporary jewellers and silversmiths. Browse a wide range of unique products at RHS Hilltop.
Where: RHS Garden Wisley, GU23 6QB
When: 4th to 8th November 2026
Cost: Entry to the fairs is included with normal Garden admission. RHS Members enter free.
* Nonsuch Craft Group Christmas Fair
High quality, locally made, hand-crafted items will be on sale for 12 days, an ideal time to shpp for unique Christmas gifts. There will be 20 stalls at the craft fair with a variety of items including textiles, pottery, jewellery, jams and honey, wooden goods, glassware, sewing, knitting and crochet, greetings cards, Christmas decorations and more.

Kingston Christmas Market
A European-style Christmas market in a traditional British setting – the closest thing you can get to a German Christmas Market or European Christmas Markets in Surrey! Kingston Christmas Market is one of the most magical Christmas markets around London. Wander under the twinkling fairy lights, enjoy a mug of mulled wine and choose from an assortment of delicious food to get you in the Christmas spirit.

Guildford Festive Makers Market
Guildford Festive Makers Market returns for another year, celebrating independent handmade businesses in the beautiful Georgian red brick Holy Trinity Church and its medieval chapel, right in the heart of Guildford High Street.
Discover an inspiring selection of bespoke, handcrafted and one-of-a-kind festive products. Previous markets have featured ceramics, natural beauty products, prints, original artwork, jewellery, fashion, home furnishings, baked goods, candles, decoupage, wall hangings, illustrations, seasonal gifts, pet accessories, terrariums and imaginative upcycled creations.

Christmas Shopping Night at The Packhouse
Visit The Packhouse after hours for a magical Christmas shopping night. Get in the festive mood surrounded by fairy lights, Christmas decorations and gift ideas. There’ll be festive live music and special pop up stalls from local suppliers.
Where: The Packhouse, Tongham Road, Runfold, Farnham, Surrey GU10 1PJ
When: Thursday 12th, 19th, and 26th November 2026, 6pm-9pm.
Cost: Free but tickets must be booked in advance. Mince pies and a free mulled wine, prosecco or non alcoholic drink are included with entry. £5 per car for parking.
* Loseley House Christmas Fair
The Rural Crafts Association presents up to 65 craftsmen and women showing their natural creative talents and enthusiasm in a vast range of inspirational gifts.
With refreshments available all day, delicious cakes, tea and coffee, light bites and mulled wine making it an ideal way to take a break and start the Christmas shopping.

Reed’s School Christmas Fair
The annual Christmas Fair is always a popular event with a vast number of stalls all designed to solve all your Christmas shopping under one roof! There will also be street food, live music and the infamous raffle!
Where: Reed’s School, Sandy Lane, Cobham, Surrey KT11 2ES
When: Friday 20th November 2026, 12pm-5:30pm

Guildford Cathedral Christmas Fair
This fantastic event has so many fabulous stalls to get unique presents for family and friends. This festive shopping experience has exhibitors selling an eclectic mix of bespoke Christmas gifts and decorations, chocolates, cakes and confectionery, liqueurs and wines, jewellery, accessories and much more!
The Cathedral Shop will also be open, stocked with wonderful items for Christmas and the Seasons Café/Restaurant, will be selling drinks, snacks and lunches.

Surrey Hills Christmas Artisan Market
Bringing the magic of the Christmas season to life with a delightful array of Surrey Hills’ finest artisans, local food, handcrafted drinks, and captivating crafts.

The Horton Arts Centre Festive Makers Market
Find a unique gift at The Horton’s Festive Maker’s Market. The Horton will be filled with market stalls selling craft products and artworks made by artists and artisans from Epsom, Surrey and across the South East. Stalls will include jewellery, textile crafts, ceramics, artwork, prints and so much more.

Brockham Christmas Craft & Gift Fair
Join the Brockham Village Christmas Fair where there will be the work of many local crafts people for sale as well as the Made in Brockham range and Brockham gift range of tea towels, mugs, coasters and cards.

Arts & Artisan Christmas Fair
The Surrey Hills Christmas Fair celebrates the best of Surrey fine arts, crafts and artisanal produce. Experience the unique atmosphere of the manor house, complete with roaring fires as you peruse arts and crafts from paintings to ceramics, textiles, jewellery, sculpture, prints, silversmithing and more.
Explore the walled gardens where you can select and buy a handmade Christmas Wreath using foliage from the grounds of West Horsley Place as well as beautiful bunches of mistletoe and hand-crafted wooden items made from fallen trees on the estate.

Godalming Christmas Festival
This year’s Godalming Christmas Festival and Lights Switch-On is a great opportunity to start your Christmas shopping. Throughout the Christmas market you’ll find a spectacular range of carefully selected top quality crafts, decorations, festival food and drink, along with many unusual and individual gifts for all your friends and family.

Bletchingley Christmas Gift & Craft Fair
There will be 22 stalls selling a lovely range of gifts for that extra special present for Christmas including locally sourced products like Sandhills Farm cider, honey from local grower, Nutfield Dairy Farm brandy butter and Christmas themed ice cream and also Kaanan Wedding Services chutney, pickles and curry powders.
There will also be the Christmas Café where you can enjoy a cuppa with a slice of homemade cake and a delicious lunch menu on offer. Plus, try your luck on the Christmas Raffle, Guess the Weight of the Christmas Cake and Guess the Name of the Bear games.

Woking & Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing Care Christmas Market
Visit the Hospice for this popular Christmas Market. The hospice opens its doors to everyone with craft and gift stalls, children’s activities including a Santa’s Grotto, festive music, mulled wine and hot food and drinks.
A wonderful afternoon full of festive cheer and gift ideas as well as a chance to find out more about this essential local charity. Everyone welcome.

* Little Bookham Christmas Market
Full of festive treats, the finest food and even some mulled wine, Little Bookham Christmas Market takes place in the lovely rustic setting of Tithe Barn, and is the perfect way to kick start your Christmas shopping this November.
All proceeds go towards the work of Cherry Trees.

Festive Fayre at Hampton Court Palace
A delicious festive weekend, set in the magnificent palace courtyards and grounds. The perfect start to your Christmas celebrations and a stunning festive food lover’s wonderland, full of delicious artisan food and drink, as well as perfect gifts to pick up for loved ones.

Ramster Christmas Market

Farnham Christmas Market
Farnham’s Christmas Market makes a welcome return this year! There will be over 150 stalls in Castle Street, The Borough and the Conservative Club in Ivy Lane selling gifts that are a little different, crafts, accessories, Christmas items, food, drink and more. Shoppers can expect there to be an emphasis on local, quality products.

* Camberley Theatre Christmas Craft Show and Market
The Camberley Theatre Christmas Craft Show and Market includes a wide range of products from local artists and makers like jewellery, craft kits, artwork and candles – there is something for everyone! There’s a cafe on site which will be open throughout the event and a dedicated area for family friendly/children’s makers so you can bring the children along and pick up some festive gifts and treats.
