Me & Mine {May 2017)
This month has been such a lovely month. Most of it has centred around Little Man’s Birthday – as he turned four on 10th May. He ended up having two parties – a soft play one after school on his birthday for his nursery friends and then one at the weekend for family. It was so lovely to see so many people and we were so glad that our house had been finished in time too – although Little Man did end up fracturing his elbow at the end of his garden party, where this month’s photo was taken.
This is the first month where our house has felt properly like home again, with so many little jobs finished off, everything in it’s place and with everything how we want it. Yes, we still have a huge to-do list but it’s a constant one that comes with having a home rather than one based around our extension. So May has been a month of enjoying our newly bigger home.
The children and I are finishing the month on holiday at Butlins with our best friends. The Daddies had to work sadly but as this post is published we will be swimming (thanks to a waterproof cast cover for Little Man), playing and having quality time together – we’re not ready to come home on Friday!
So May has been lovely. The weather has been very much hit and miss apart from the last week or so which has been glorious but it has been full of time together, time just enjoying being at home and time of celebrations. It has been a pretty perfect month. Now, what will June bring?
So sad that T hurt his arm but I hope he enjoyed his parties. Hope you’re all having a wonderful break at Butlins xx
Poor little man and his arm but he seems to be handling it like a right little champion. Beautiful family photo! x
love this – the long awaited extension backdrop!
May really has been so lovely hasn’t it? I love this one, your son looks so much like Daddy and your daughter like you, two sets of minimes. Adorable. Hope June is just as nice ahead. #meandmineproject
