Me & Mine {June 2014}
Anyone who has seen our Me & Mine posts from the start will understand that I am often late with the posts due to Dave’s shiftwork and a lack of family time. They’ll also remember that I had never used the self timer on my camera back in January and had only recently got my DSLR.
We are now 6 months into this year’s Me & Mine project and this month feels so symbolic for me. I have not only had time to take photos of us but I have also taken my tripod out with us, attached it to the pushchair handle and used the self timer away from the security of our own home and garden. This month I am proud of myself and for that reason I am sharing three different Me & Mine photos – I took them to give a choice for this post but I couldn’t decide and I wanted to share them all!
This month started with a little holiday, a weekend away in the New Forest and I took the photos whilst we were there. Other than that Dave has been working and I have been preparing for my return to work – in a few days time! A usual month for us but with a lovely little break full of family time.
Oh what lovely piccys. I rarely get any of me and mine. And when I do? Someone always looks a bit bonkers!!! And also excited to hear you are changing your blog up a bit? Will look forward to seeing the changes xxx
Wow, getting ready to go back to work?! Lovely pictures, beautiful family 🙂
Oh, my goodness, I love everything about this. LOVING all these happy family photos. But also loving that Me and Mine has inspired you get brave, and get out there and get such lovely fun filled photos. It’s made my day.
Well done on getting half way through the year, so glad to have you on board with us. x
I only got my camera in December and saw your portrait projects soon after. It was a little unspoken resolution of mine that I would join in with Me&Mine, Me&You and Siblings to force me to take photos that I wouldn’t take otherwise. Halfway through the year and I can truly thank you for helping me take photos of my family 🙂 Thanks Lucy! x
LOVE these photos, you all look so happy! I especially love the swings one – I really want to get an ‘action’ shot for at least one of our Me & Mine pictures, instead of just posing for them 🙂
Wow go you this month Donna! I love all these – the swing one is particularly arty 🙂 xx
I think being in a caravan for a week with no wifi made me appreciate the family outdoors time enough to be arty 🙂 x
I love these pictures and can see why you have upgraded your camera. I still only have an Iphone, it is on my HUGE wish list for Santa!
I really thought you were a regular tripod user! You have such lovely photos of the kids all the time that in my head you’re in the ‘photographer’ blogger group 🙂 x
I love all of the photos! It can be so daunting doing something like setting a tripod up in public, I havent managed to do that yet! maybe I can take inspiration from you next month!

I recognise that spider! We went to that park as children and now take the boys every year! Wonderful to see your love of capturing your family in photos grow through the year xxx
