Me & Mine {September 2018}

Woah, September – where did you go? I swear we only started the month a few days ago and now I’m sitting here, on Saturday night, wondering if I actually have a photo for this post. I thought we had at least another week to take one.

This month has been such a busy one. The children went back to school and with LP at a new campus and Little Man still at the old one it means that our routine has changed completely and the school run is taking so much longer in the morning and the afternoon. We are definitely in a good routine with it now but it has been quite a shock to the system. Thankfully though LP and Little Man both really enjoy school which makes it all so much easier.

We arrived home from Florida on the 2nd September and our first weekend at home was spent celebrating LP’s birthday with friends and family. She had a really lovely time and although she had such a nice birthday in Florida it was great to celebrate with everyone at home too.

We also had a weekend in a yurt in Dorset this month which was the best family time we’ve had in ages. So much time to switch off and relax – it was lovely and something I know we’ll do again in the future.

The month has finished with us trying to sort out lots of things in the house – decorating Little Man’s bedroom, rearranging and decorating the lounge and really getting as much as possible sorted before Christmas – it’ll be here before we know it.

So September has flown by and we are now well and truly into Autumn. October is going to be a lovely month – I can feel it. I hope you had a lovely September too.
