Introducing Breathe Easy Vapour Rub from Colief | AD

It’s that time of year where children are getting colds, snuffly noses and the usual bugs that coincide with being back at school. Our children have had a handful of colds every year from when they were tiny and we are always looking for ways to help them get through it.

We’ve always found nights the most difficult when the children have a cold. Coughing, sniffing and the effort to just breathe normally whilst they sleep. It always seems much worse than when they have other distractions through the day.

But, over the last few weeks we’ve discovered Breathe Easy Vapour Rub from Colief which has already helped the children to sleep that much easier at night.

The Breathe Easy Vapour Rub can be used with any child over the age of three months by simply rubbing it on their back, chest or even the soles of their feet. The children’s body heat gently warms the balm which releases natural vapours which help to ease their nasal congestion.

As our children are older they can talk to us about having a cold, how it feels and if something is helping. That’s definitely one thing I really appreciate about the children growing up – they can tell us when something is wrong and how they’re feeling.

Because of this, we could ask them what they thought of the Breathe Easy Vapour Rub, and it’s always nice to be able to share their thoughts and not just mine as a parent.

They actually both loved how cooling the rub feels when it’s applied. It has also been a nice part of their bedtime routine – putting pyjamas on and massaging in the vapour rub whilst having a story before going to bed.

The vapour rub smells amazing. The eucalyptus and menthol scents are ones that we’ve all come to associate with colds and it often feels like just smelling those familiar scents makes you feel a little better.

The Breathe Easy Vapour Rub comes in a really handy stick format that I’ve never seen on any other product in the past. It’s so innovative and works so well compared to typical tubs and jars of cream or ointment.

The stick has a screw cap and the rub is visible as soon as the cap is removed. You then apply the rub by massaging it with the stick directly onto the children’s skin. You don’t have to touch the vapour rub and so there’s less risk of getting it in your eyes or anywhere it shouldn’t be.

I remember my parents putting vapour rubs on me as a child and they always ended up with goopy hands and vapour rub under their nails afterwards. There’s no risk of that with the Breathe Easy Vapour Rub. It is so safe, clean and easy to use.

There have been no complaints from the children when using the Breathe Easy Vapour Rub. They like the smell of it, they appreciate that it really does help them breathe easier at night and it’s so quick to apply too.

As a parent you have certain staples in your medicine cupboard and, without a shadow of a doubt, Colief Breathe Easy Vapour Rub is now one of those staples for us along with the Colief Breathe Easy Patches that we’ve been using for a few years now. I just wish The Breathe Easy Vapour Rub had been around when our children were babies!

You can find out more about Breathe Easy Vapour Rub over on their website and it’s available on Amazon too.
