We love seeing fireworks. It’s a real annual tradition and something the children always love. It’s always nice to get the extended family together or a group of friends and enjoy the festivities together. Something seasonal that all ages can enjoy.
I thought it would be nice to put together all the professional firework displays across Surrey so you can add the dates to your diary for a little bit of classic family fun. I’ve found so many that I hadn’t heard of before – we have so many fantastic displays in Surrey.
When is Bonfire Night?
Bonfire night is officially on 5th November and this year there are fireworks displays and community bonfire night events across the weekends before and after Bonfire Night, spanning nearly a whole month of celebrations!
Organised Fireworks Displays

Horley Town Firework Display
Horley Recreation Ground, Brighton Road, Horley, Surrey RH6 8SS
Time: Gates open at 6:30pm, bonfire at 7pm, fireworks at 7:30pm
Tickets: £6 per adult, £3 per child, under 5’s go free.

Godstone Farm Mini Fireworks Festival

Time: Entertainment from 5:30pm, fireworks from 6:45pm

Bramley Fireworks Night and Bonfire

Morden Park Musical Fireworks

Cranleigh Lions Bonfire & Fireworks

Time: Fireworks at 7:10pm

The Hills Fireworks
Woolmer Hill School, Woolmer Hill Rd, Hindhead, Haslemere GU27 1QB
Time: Gates at 4pm, bonfire at 4:30pm, fireworks at 5:30pm
Tickets: £7 per person. Children 3 and under go free.
Guildford Fireworks Fiesta
Stoke Park, Nightingale Road, Guildford, Surrey GU1 1ER
Time: Gates open at 5pm, fireworks at 8:30pm
Tickets: £17 per adult, children go free.
Brockham Bonfire and Fireworks
Brockham, Betchworth, Surrey RH3 7JJ
Time: Roads closed from 5:30pm. Torchlit procession at 6pm. 7:45pm bonfire lit and fireworks at 8:15pm
Tickets: Free to attend, donations welcome.
1st Lightwater Scouts Bonfire Night
Field behind All Saints’ Church, Broadway Rd, Lightwater GU18 5SJ
Time: Gates open at 6pm, bonfire lit at 7pm and fireworks start at 7:30pm
Tickets: Adults £7, Seniors £5, Children £5 – under 5s go free. Family tickets are £20 for 2 adults and up to 3 children.
Chiddingfold Bonfire and Fireworks
The Green, Chiddingfold, Surrey
Time: Procession at 7pm, bonfire 7:15pm, fireworks 8pm
Tickets: Free to attend
Epsom Fireworks Display & Funfair
Hook Road Arena, Epsom, Surrey, KT19 8QG
Time: Gates at 5:30pm, low noise fireworks show at 6:30pm, main fireworks at 7:30pm
Tickets: £8.50 per person when booked in advance. Under 5’s go free.
Woking Fireworks Extravaganza
Kingfield Road, Woking, Woking, Surrey GU22 9BA
Time: Gates open at 5:30pm, fireworks at 7:30pm
Tickets: Adults £11, children £5, family of four £27 when booked in advance
Just outside of Surrey, Legoland Windsor fireworks are some of our favourites. They do get super busy but you can have a great day at the theme park beforehand too. We wrote this post with tips for visiting the Legoland fireworks if you decide to go. It’s a great day out. Another great alternative, not too far away, are the Kempton Park Fireworks which are always a great evening out.
