I realised recently that we shared a whole bunch of puff pastry swirls recipes that the children absolutely love but had never shared our puff pastry twists. These are some of our favourite family bakes and ones that the children would happily bake every day. So I’m kicking off with our Biscoff Puff Pastry Twists recipe.

How do you make Biscoff twists?

Biscoff twists could not be easier to make. You simply need a puff pastry sheet – Jus Roll is great but own brand versions work well too, Lotus Biscoff spread and en egg to glaze the pastries before baking.

For this Biscoff pastry recipe we use smooth Biscoff spread but you can use crunchy Biscoff spread if you prefer – it definitely adds some extra texture to the finished bake. You can also use milk instead of beaten egg to glaze the pastries if you prefer.

Our children love to eat these easy puff pastry Biscoff twists pretty much straight from the oven but you can add a dusting of icing sugar for an extra boost of sweetness – as well as looking extra pretty – if you like before serving.

Although we cook these Biscoff pastries in the oven, I’m sure you could turn them easily into a Biscoff puff pastry air fryer recipe – you’ll just have to play around with temperature and timings!
