I’ve been making simple bakes with ready made pastry for the children for years. It’s nice to have something freshly made for them when they get home from school and they’re nice recipes to bake with the kids too – they always love helping in the kitchen. Our latest bake to share are these Biscoff Puff Pastry Swirls – full of delicious Lotus Biscoff flavour.

How do you make Lotus Biscoff Pastry Swirls?
To make these simple puff pastry pinwheels you just need ready made puff pastry sheets, Lotus Biscoff Spread, a single Biscoff biscuit and a beaten egg to use as an egg wash before baking.

We use smooth Biscoff spread for this easy puff pastry Biscoff swirls recipe but you can use crunchy for extra texture to the bake and although we prefer to use fresh puff pastry for this easy bake you can also use frozen puff pastry just make sure it thaws completely before use.
You can also use milk instead of the egg wash if you prefer and although we eat the Biscoff swirls pretty much straight from the oven, you can dust them with a little icing sugar before serving if you prefer.

Although these Biscoff puff pastry pinwheels keep in an airtight container for a few days, they are best eaten on the day you make them – for brunch, an afternoon snack or to take on a picnic. I can guarantee they won’t last long!
