Introducing Utama Spice Sustainable Living Products

I love discovering new health and beauty products, especially if they are not just kind to your skin but kind to the environment too. Our latest discovery is Utama Spice – a brand that have been making the purest skin care products for over thirty years in Indonesia.
What is Utama Spice?

Utama Spice create a really wide range of items from bath and shower products to face care, body care, hair care and moisturisers to things like home cleaning products, home fragrances and more.
The lovely team at Utama Spice sent me a selection of their skin care and hair care products to test out and as soon as I opened the box I could smell the wonderful aromas that are symbolic of the Utama Spice brand. Every product smells amazing, traditional and natural.
The Utama Spice Bath / Shower range
The Utama Spice bath and shower range features liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner. Everything that you need for your shower – and products that work well with daily use too.
The liquid soap comes in a pump action bottle and is available in a range of scents. It’s enriched with coconut and essential oils, making it a fantastic cleanser but also kind to your skin. It can be used on the hands and face as well as the whole body, leaving skin soft and smooth as well as lovely and clean.
The Utama Spice All Natural Shampoo is made with coconut oil and cocoa butter, hydrating hair beautifully whilst also cleansing and protecting your scalp from dandruff. Thanks to the essential oils, this shampoo leaves your hair beautifully shiny, healthy and smelling wonderful. Plus, it boosts hair growth too.
I’ve been using the Utama Spice Hydrating Conditioner after washing my hair and it’s a lovely product to use. It doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave any residual build up, instead simply moisturising my hair and leaving it looking much healthier.
The Utama Spice Body Care range
The Utama Spice Body Care range is vast. It features body butter and lotion, sun care, deodorant, body balm and body oil, all made with the wonderful natural products I have come to expect from Utama Spice.
I’ve been using the Cocoa Love Lotion which smells lovely and festive thanks to the vanilla and cinnamon, and sinks nicely into my skin. It’s not at all greasy and leaves my skin lovely and soft.
I’ve also really enjoyed using the Lemongrass Ginger Delight Body Butter. Available in a range of scents, this one smells just like a trip to the spa – and makes you feel just like that too! Thick and luxurious, it invigorates and soothes the skin, helping to relieve stress in the process.
One of my favourite Utama Spice products is the Body Mist. Available in a range of gorgeous scents, this aromatherapy body mist is perfect to spritz if you need a pick me up, a little refresher or simply a nice aroma to help you through the day.
The body mist is light and full of fragrance, infused with essential oils that help to cool and refresh the skin. It’s a really lovely product to keep in your bag for whenever you need it.
The last product I have been trying is part of the Utama Spice face care range – Utama Spice Face Serum. The range features many different serums that are designed to target and correct specific skin issues, like acne, dryness, and signs of aging.
I’ve been using the Dry & Aging Skin Serum and it’s definitely now a part of my routine. It aims to restore your skins natural health and give you a natural glow. It feels lovely on my skin and I’m really enjoying using it.
