When we first went to Sky Garden in London I realised that there are so many places across the capital where you can enjoy a meal or just drinks whilst appreciating the views of the city. And many of those places have glorious outside spaces, gardens and terraces that are a joy to spend time in. So I thought I would put together all the restaurants in London with rooftop gardens to help you plan your next visit to one of the most famous cities in the world.

3. Larch Restaurant
A bit of a wild card. Larch celebrates classic Italian dining made with the very best seasonal British produce to add a delicious depth of flavour to every mouthful. Although on the ground floor of The Fenchurch Building, opposite the entrance to Sky Garden, a reservation at Larch gives access to Sky Garden before or after your reservation.

4. The Culpeper
The Culpeper is a traditional London pub with a restaurant, pub, rooms and a fantastic rooftop garden. A great place to spend time whether you’re there for a meal or simply drinks with friends, they have seasonal menus that are delicious and go well with the unmissable view of the city skyline.

5. Queen Elizabeth Hall Roof Garden Bar & Kitchen
The Roof Garden Bar & Kitchen is nestled on top of the Queen Elizabeth Hall, part of the Queen Elizabeth Hall Roof Garden. It’s home to over 200 wild native plants, a luscious lawn with views across London. It’s a peaceful space that has become a much-loved feature of the Southbank Centre.

6. Coq d’Argent
Coq d’Argent is the City’s original rooftop destination, combining classic French cuisine with an oasis of gardens, sweeping terraces and skyline views over the Bank of England.

7. Skylark Roof Garden
London’s highest and largest rooftop terrace overlooking Notting Hill and Hyde Park.

8. One New Change Roof Terrace

Forza is an “Italian-ish” bar and restaurant for drinks, snacks and views in Peckham, South London.

62. Ham Yard Hotel, Soho
This large, leafy roof top garden gives sweeping views over the London skyline. It’s an unexpected urban oasis, planted with olive, apple and pear trees and year-round seasonal blooms, from poppies and lemon verbena to jasmine. Salad, herb and vegetable gardens provide produce for the menus and two bee hives produce honey for the cocktails.
