It’s that time of year where families across the country and searching for the best places to see Father Christmas. A highlight of our calendar, meeting Father Christmas is something we look forward to as a family in the run up to Christmas and something we spend so much time researching and booking.
When can you see Father Christmas in London?
Although going to see Father Christmas in December is the most popular time, events this year are starting at various times in November, giving you plenty of time to see Father Christmas before the big day.
Where to see Father Christmas in London
I thought I’d put together all the Santas Grottos and places where you can meet Father Christmas this year in London. I hope this gives you some inspiration for the festive season!
London Zoo – Outer Cir, London NW1 4RY
Meet Santa at London Zoo – 22 November – 24 December 2025
Meet Santa – £18.50 per child – Relaxed session also available
Little ones can take part in Christmas crafts before they meet Santa in his magical grotto at the heart of London Zoo and receive a very special early Christmas gift to take home.
Meet Santa Deluxe – £42 per child / £15.75 per adult – Relaxed session also available
For only £23.50 more per child, you’re invited to help Santa’s elves save Christmas! The whole family will enjoy interactive fun in the brand-new ZooTown play area, finding clues and solving puzzles, before enjoying a hot drink and a sweet treat each. And of course, every child will meet Santa in his grotto and take away a Christmas gift.
Meet Santa VIP Breakfast – £44.50 per child / £22.50 per adult
For only £26 more per child, elves will sneak you into the Zoo at 8am, before normal opening, for a very special VIP Breakfast with the elves in the Terrace Restaurant. After a delicious hot breakfast, you’ll embark on a special early morning tour whilst the Zoo is waking up before little ones meet Santa in his grotto, taking home a special Christmas gift.

Each ticket includes a memorable visit with Santa and an age-appropriate gift to take home, inspired by traditional Victorian toys and games.

Santa is ready and waiting to meet all the children (and their families) over at Santa’s Grotto. It is free to enter Santa’s Grotto and well-behaved children will receive a present from Santa himself.

Step into a magical festive wonderland as the historic Palace is transformed for the holiday season. Children will enter through the main door and have the chance to craft a special Christmas keepsake to treasure and take home.

Upon arrival, Mrs. Kringle and her friendly helpers will guide you through an enchanting grotto. Christmas with LEGO magic! With over 25 Rides, live shows and attractions for you to enjoy with the whole family. The Park is transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with twinkling lights, snow dusted trees and a sprinkling of LEGO magic!
There’s LEGO Make and Takes. a DUPLO Puppet pantomime and a live show that will leave you full of the Christmas spirit. You’ll also see Father Christmas as he roams the park on the back of his magical sleigh and can add on a visit to Father Christmas’ Cabin too.
