A New Year {The Ordinary Moments}

Welcome back to another week – and another year – of the Ordinary Moments. If you haven’t joined in before this is a weekly linky that launches every Sunday morning and is open until midnight on the following Saturday. It’s a linky that celebrates any ordinary moments in your life – or the not so ordinary some weeks too. Basically – anything goes. I’ll be sharing and commenting on the posts that are linked up during the week and there’s a badge at the bottom of the post if you’d like to add it to yours too.

I have been sharing an Ordinary Moment each week since 2013 and have documented over six years of those little, ordinary moments within the pages of this blog. There are over three hundred posts following the children growing, all those milestones, favourite toys, lost teeth, quirks and foibles. Those posts are the reason I started blogging – to document all those memories – and this year will be no different.

Many people make big resolutions at the start of the year and I always have little aims and things to start or continue. But, this year I am just hoping for more of the same.

More time together as a family. More memories made. More to learn. More to see. More to do and more time relaxing together at home. More – but the same.

So this year will be full of ordinary moments for us, and I’ll be documenting them each week like I have done previously. I’ll share all those gappy smiles, the bike rides, the big days out and the grand adventures. I’ll talk about how work is going, how the children are doing at school and I’ll use this space each week to keep my blog grounded and true to its roots.

The Ordinary Moments. A time to record memories, share experiences and write about whatever we want to write about each week. Here’s to a shiny new year of many more moments, together.

The Ordinary Moments

If you have an ordinary moment this week, come and link up – I’m looking forward to reading the moments that you share and will comment and share them on Twitter through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part.
