Me & Mine {January 2016}

This month has gone by in a bit of a blur. So much so that I have had to take our first Me & Mine photo of 2016 in our lounge with the lights on! Huge fail. But it pretty much sums up our January.

Although I have made plans to see lots of friends this month we have spent the rest of the time in hibernation – lazy days at home, afternoons watching TV or making crafts. We have had quiet time, played games and just relaxed. After the crazy busy time of December the relaxed weeks of January have been much needed and much appreciated.

We have had big plans for February since last year so we knew we needed a quiet January and that is what it has been. Lovely, quiet, quality family time.

  1. We’ve been inside most of the month too. I much prefer snuggling up with my 2 than taking them out in the cold for no reason haha. Although saying that I’m so excited for it to be nicer so we can get out more! Ooh excited to see what you’re getting up to in Feb xx

  2. Ahhh, January was made for hibernating, so I don’t think this is a fail at all. It’s so cosy, and it sounds like it sums up your January really well. x

  3. Sounds a lot like our month. I think January should be all about hibernation (or running away to the Caribbean!). Xx

  4. I think lots of people have taken their photos at home this month! I really hope this miserable weather improves soon and we can all get out and about a bit more. And I’m excited about your plans for February too – can’t wait to see you!

  5. Definitely I think we all need a quiet January after Christmas don’t we, but this one really has dragged a bit don’t you think? My pic was a sofa one too, the weather on the days I had to take the photo was just awful and i didn’t think I’d get a smile from the kids on a windy walk! x
