Although we had some lovely weather a week or two ago, I’m starting to wonder whether the summer is now over and we’ve moved to autumn already! Because of this, we don’t have a huge amount of plans over the summer, preferring to spend time at home, relaxing after such an uncertain year.
LP and Little Man haven’t had consistent swimming lessons for a while – due to the pandemic and our local leisure centre closing for refurbishment. But, next week they start lessons again and they couldn’t be more excited, especially with brand new onesies to wear afterwards thanks to Cookie Dough Kids.
Is there anything better than loungewear? I’ll be honest, I loved loungewear long before the pandemic and the fact that it now takes up a big chunk of most wardrobes makes me so happy. Both versatile and comfortable, loungewear is something I could happily live in – and now LP thinks so too!
Any regular reader will know that I have a long running love of loungewear. Long before the pandemic I would get changed into loungewear as soon as I got in from work or the school run, having a designated outdoor wardrobe and then loungewear and PJs for at home.
I love giving personalised gifts for any occasion and with Christmas coming up gifting is obviously at the forefront of many people’s minds. So I wanted to introduce you to Engravers Guild, a new discovery of mine and a fantastic place to buy engraved gifts for any family member or friend.
The weather doesn’t really know what it’s doing at the moment but I know that before long autumn will be in full flow and we’ll be dressing for the cooler weather.
Over the last few months I’ve been living in loungewear. It’s been so nice to be able to spend time at home, relaxing and wearing comfortable clothes. I’ve also had a break from makeup and it’s been really nice to just go back to basics a little.
I have worn glasses for pretty much my whole life, getting my first pair when I was just at nursery school. Since then regular eye tests have become the norm for me and getting new glasses is always such a treat, no matter how old you are.
We have now been at home for around ten weeks and I’m sure I am not alone in living in loungewear over that time. When we’re not seeing anyone, not really going anywhere and just relaxing the only thing I want is to be comfortable.
