A new Season Outfit from Cotton Traders

At the weekend I took the children for a walk at Virginia Water. We’re not great at spending time outdoors in the winter months but we’re making the most of sunny days to explore the green spaces we have locally – and Virginia Water is beautiful.

A wardrobe update from Cotton Traders

I took the opportunity to wear a new outfit from Cotton Traders, which was perfect for a walk on a fresh, sunny day. The weather was still fairly cool but warm enough to not wear a coat as long as we had a jumper on so I wore my new cord hoodie, layered with a comfy jersey top.

The hoodie is so soft but durable, great for an adventure and with a texture that I haven’t seen on a hoodie before. The top is the perfect base layer, super cosy and a lovely fit.

I wore in my new boots and they ended up being the perfect footwear for a walk in the great outdoors. Boots that can easily be dressed up for a smart occasion or worn in a forest, to town or on a day out. Really comfortable, versatile boots.

This time of year is really hard to dress for. It’s freezing one moment and then bright and sunny the next – but still with a chill in the air. And don’t get me started on the rain. I’ve found layering is the answer.

I wear a few layers on my top half, and add a coat when needed. I can then take a layer off when I need to – and put it back on when it gets chilly again! Cotton Traders have so many products that are perfect for layering, making it a great place to shop at this time of year.

We had such a nice walk, drinking hot chocolates, chatting and saying hello to so many friendly dogs as they passed. It was a great way to spend a morning and I’m sure we’ll be back at Virginia Water before too long. It’s a really nice place to spend time.
