Living Arrows – 42/52

Here we are again – another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Odd Socks and Lollipops

This week’s photos were just taken at home again. I think we’re all about hibernating and spending time together at the moment. Little Man’s photo was him laying on the floor, actually trying to grab or kick the camera. I love the serious look on his face and how grown up he looks all of a sudden.

LP’s photo was during a mini photoshoot at home. I love how natural LP’s smile is, and how just happy and relaxed she is. There’s no big cheese grin or messing around – it’s just her.

As always, I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week – thanks for taking the time to link up! This really is such a big part of my blogging week and I love that so many people stop by each week.

  1. Oh wow LP and LM look so so similar here – not that the pics are similar but in each one they look just like their sibling! And their mummy 🙂 x

  2. Love the first photo choice from last week, I must have missed that one.

Yes, the start of indoor photos taking over. I sigh because there’s so much stuff around our house to get in the way, and the light is never where I want it.

  3. Your little man does look really grown up in that photo, and I love LPs cheeky grin. We have been hibernating recently, though some of the beautiful photos have seen this week are making me want to go outdoors!

  4. It’s definitely that time of year when I end up taking a lot of photos at home too. I love LM’s expression – he really is looking grown up these days. And LP just looks so cheeky in that picture – lovely!
