Living Arrows – 40/52
Here we are again – another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:
This week’s photos were taken yesterday, on a relaxed day at home. We all needed a rest and it couldn’t have been a better day of just pottering, playing and just being. LP was watching TV, in a princess dress and I actually took quite a few photos of her face, complete with a little smile at the movie she was watching. But then I saw her feet, and her train right next to her brother’s Thomas and I thought what a much better Living Arrows photo it would be.
Little Man spent most of the day playing trains, in his amazing banana onesie we bought him a week or so ago. Regular readers may remember his banana coat, that was in fact his sister’s before him, and he couldn’t be happier with his onesie. I love the concentration on this photo, how he’s sitting and the amount of time he spent working out how to make a circle by himself.
As always, I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week – thanks for taking the time to link up! This really is such a big part of my blogging week and I love that so many people stop by each week.

I love the banana onesie, good choice! There is something about little ones feet, they always looks so soft and untouched. Great photos x
You can’t beat a nice relaxing day 🙂 Love the photo of feet and train 🙂 x
Oh my word Little Man’s banana onesie is awesome – how cute is that!!! x x
I love that banana onesie – I was almost going to buy it but I don’t think it would have fit Toby. He has got banana leggings though! Thanks for featuring my picture this week x
Love your choices from last week, the conkers shot in particular is fab, I think I missed it so will pop over now to comment! That banana onesie is awesome too! x #LivingArrows
OMG that onesie is fab. Where’s it from? N was called banana when I was pregnant by my best friend.
Thanks so much for featuring me! I love your shot of LP’s feet – you are right, it captures that moment of her relaxing so well. x
Great choice – that conker photo is perfection!!
I love the photo of the feet and the trains. Glad you decided to use it. #livingarrows
I love the photo of LPs feet, I’m rubbish at remembering to photograph all of those little details. I get too distracted by faces but I’m trying to mix it up a little. Oh and I love Little Man’s onesie!
Aww I love little feet, Kyle’s now at 9 aren’t so cute anymore! I love his banana onsie! x
