Living Arrows – 29/52 {2019}
Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows – and thanks to everyone who linked up last week. I love this project and it’s so nice getting to know the families that participate in Living Arrows each week and I’m so pleased so many are continuing to link up through the year.
If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs. As a little tip, I only really feature landscape photos – and very occasionally square photos.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:
Mudpie Fridays
This week’s photos were taken over the weekend. We had some much appreciated down time after months of constantly doing things and the children loved it. There was time in our pyjamas, pancakes, seeing family and friends close to home and even toasting marshmallows in the garden. It was just what we needed.
I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week and seeing the photos you share. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part – see you again next week!
Sounds a lovely relaxing weekend. We all needs those to balance the busy times x
Sometimes you just need a weekend to relax don’t you!
Down time is the best! Everyone needs down time now and then.
Athena looks so grown up! Where has all that time gone? Thank you for featuring my photo, glad you liked it 🙂
Much deserved break for you this weekend then. I love a chilled weekend with the kids when there is nothing planned, sounds like you had a really relaxing one. Your kids are gorgeous Donna.
I love seeing LP reading, she always looks so chilled and engrossed in her story. I’m hoping Daisy will read a little more and ditch the screen this holiday #livingarrows
I think everyone has needed some relaxing time at the start of these holidays – I know we did too!
